[VOTE] Accumulo2 Maven Plugin 1.0.0-rc1

Christopher Tubbs-2
Accumulo Developers,

Please consider the following candidate for Accumulo2 Maven Plugin 1.0.0.

Git Commit:
    c9ec8487898819edf3d70838abfe416077d27360
Branch:
    1.0.0-rc1

If this vote passes, a gpg-signed tag will be created using:
    git tag -f -m 'Accumulo2 Maven Plugin 1.0.0' -s
rel/accumulo2-maven-plugin-1.0.0 \
    c9ec8487898819edf3d70838abfe416077d27360

Staging repo: https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapacheaccumulo-1083
Source (official release artifact):
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapacheaccumulo-1083/org/apache/accumulo/accumulo2-maven-plugin/1.0.0/accumulo2-maven-plugin-1.0.0-source-release.tar.gz
Append ".asc" to download the cryptographic signature for a given artifact.
(You can also append ".sha1" or ".md5" instead in order to verify the
checksums generated by Maven to verify the integrity of the Nexus
repository staging area.)

In addition to the tarball, and its signature, the following checksum
file will be added to the dist/release SVN area after release:
accumulo2-maven-plugin-1.0.0-source-release.tar.gz.sha512 will contain:
SHA512 (accumulo2-maven-plugin-1.0.0-source-release.tar.gz) =
70ee5431f95f6a13c1745dc2b56b7f12e99befa6f1b9cf6479e44abc826ed67de98783da0b11a8996dee860ec472b40d35a3ea1e4e14489fc85870b800d50104

Signing keys are available at https://www.apache.org/dist/accumulo/KEYS
(Expected fingerprint: 8CC4F8A2B29C2B040F2B835D6F0CDAE700B6899D)

Please vote one of:
[ ] +1 - I have verified and accept...
[ ] +0 - I have reservations, but not strong enough to vote against...
[ ] -1 - Because..., I do not accept...
... these artifacts as the 1.0.0 release of Accumulo Maven Plugin.

This vote will remain open until at least Wed 07 Aug 2019 11:00:00 PM UTC.
(Wed 07 Aug 2019 07:00:00 PM EDT / Wed 07 Aug 2019 04:00:00 PM PDT)
Voting can continue after this deadline until the release manager
sends an email ending the vote.

Thanks!

P.S. Hint: download the whole staging repo with
    wget -erobots=off -r -l inf -np -nH \
    https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapacheaccumulo-1083/

Re: [VOTE] Accumulo2 Maven Plugin 1.0.0-rc1

Christopher Tubbs-2
+1 from me.

I verified the build, the checksums, sigs, and NOTICE/LICENSE files,
the expected source and javadoc jars, and that contents of source
tarball match the git commit.

Also, I built Fluo using it and ran Fluo's ITs on Java 8 and Java 11
(had to tweak Fluo to support Java 11 builds, but it wasn't a big
change).

[RESULT][VOTE] Accumulo2 Maven Plugin 1.0.0-rc1

Christopher Tubbs-2
This vote passes with 3 binding +1s, and 1 non-binding +1.

Thanks all!

I'll begin release tasks for this shortly (it should be much simpler
than a full Accumulo release... there's much less to update on the
website).

Re: [RESULT][VOTE] Accumulo2 Maven Plugin 1.0.0-rc1

Christopher Tubbs-2
Release tasks complete:

* Create and push signed tag
* Merge in -next branch to master and clean up RC branches
* Publish artifacts to svn/dist for mirrors
* Update release metadata at reporter.apache.org
* Update website with:
  * Generated plugin docs from mvn site:site
  * Updated RDF

Stuff I'll do tomorrow:

* Write a release post for the website (should be short... the plugin
docs are already at /accumulo2-maven-plugin)
* Create a new section on the downloads page for the plugin releases
* Do we need to create an ANNOUNCE email? Maybe just for the user@
list? or [hidden email] also?
* Figure out where the new DOAP file needs to be referenced for the
plugin to show up on projects.apache.org
